Gym is open every day- which days can you come?
Congratulations to everyone that completed the cardio challenge! I liked that one.
I know forsure Nancy, Alecia, Chelle, Jenn finished. Was there anyone else?
Nancy had an idea for a challenge in February- You can do all of it or some of it.
Let us know what you want to accomplish in February
1. Completely fill out the chart on the wall with what weights you are using. So if there is a move on the chart you haven't done, do a workout with that move and record the weight you used.
2. Do a workout with a move you have done before but try going up on weight. Example- if you are use to 25lb KB, try a workout with a 30lb KB
3. Complete a 10k or try for a PR on a 10K
4. Complete a 5k or try for a PR on a 5K
5. Get 2 PR's on a workout of your choice or I can help you choose.
6. If you are using bands for pull ups try a workout with one less band. If you are using rings for pull up workouts try a workout with band pull ups.
Do you want to do all 5? Lets do it!!
I'm really sore so not sure if I'll do Monday or not. I will post later today. Tues, Thurs, Friday. Kids are off Friday so we can do 9:00 if you want. We are gone over the weekend.

2- I will try for a heavier bk squat.
4 and 5.
6 I will try for one more dead hang pull up than I normally do.
Monday & Friday. Will think about the Feb Challenge - maybe pullups with one band and new PR for 5k row....
ReplyDeleteI’ll be there Tuesday but out the rest of the week. I’ll do the challenge, try to increase my weight in as many things as I can and do pull-ups with one band.

Challenge - 1, 2 (heavier back squat and kettle balls), 4, 5 and 6. - will start doing pull-ups on bosu or bands
2) KB ~ went from 30# to 35#
Delete5) 1 PR on Partner WO 2/6
6) went from rings to jump w/ 2 35# weights to stand on. Totally sore in new places :)

ReplyDeleteTuesday, Wednesday for me. Love this challenge for February. I’m down with 1 - 6 but last week went down to one band so I don’t think I can improve there.

ReplyDeleteI could do Friday but not until 11:00. If that works since kids are off school we could workout and kids could hang out. Let me know if that works for anyone. If you need the earlier time you can do that as well. I will not be here at 8:30.
